See Yah When I See You

A very special poem made by one of my best friends. Thanks Jaja for making me feel so special. You will always be my person.

All alone in this moment,

I’m wondering what to say.

I don’t need an angel or a prophet,

Or a famous writer to pay.

 

This is such an awkward feeling,

Putting the right words to say.

Here in my bedroom reminiscing,

For you will be moving away.

 

I have tried to tell you how I feel,

Letting my actions naturally tell.

What I’m feeling tonight is real,

But the words won’t come out still.

 

So I decided to put it in a love song,

But I am not that talented for sure.

A poem that I believe is so long,

Is my one and only cure.

 

I could still remember my first day in the team,

I thought you were such a grim.

I never imagined you were that kind,

A friend in you I actually find.

 

I remember my happiest days with you,

Talking and building dreams out of the blue.

We just let our felicity flow,

Even the nights were low.

 

You were always there when I needed you,

When I was crying, I saw you cry too.

You always took my worries away,

Always making a much better day.

 

You are my friend, you know its forever.

You are my savior and my tutor.

You make me laugh with your jokes so clever,

You are like a clown, filling my world with color.

 

But I guess not all good things meant to last,

All that happened went so fast.

You told me you will be leaving soon,

Can’t believe I’ll be left alone in my room.

 

I just can’t put you inside a bottle,

Or saying something stupid like “stay”.

I know this is your own battle,

And I’m here to support you all the way.

 

I can’t let you leave that easily,

Without saying my goodbye.

Even if it’s killing me softly,

I will face it with a smile.

 

You will always stay in my heart,

Even though we will be miles apart.

This would be my last time to tell you,

My famous line “see yah when I see you”.

Open Not (Script)

Summer of 2012, our summer class teacher gave us an assignment to make a short story, a fiction one. A story that is something unreal . The next day when we submitted our work, she then told us to make a script out of what we made. That was for our next lesson which is the genre crossing. So from short story to script then to a role play.

And this is the scripted version of my short story Open Not.

Last Saturday, approximately 1-2am, the flood caused by the Tropical Storm rose too quickly while the victims of Northern Mindano were sleeping.

I welcome myself

For so long now, finally, I have created an account for blogging. Well, I vaguely has an idea what is blogging all about. It just excite me to create one (as if I know what this whole thing is). Anyway I am trying to make this blogging fun for myself. Can anyone give me some tips on how to enjoy this thing and what is this thing “blogging” really is all about.
